Ass. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ph.D. Ekrem Oezkaya received his doctorate at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the TU Dortmund with an excellent academic performance. He has more than 25 years of practical experience in the area of engineering and over 10 years of academic experience as a lecturer. Dr.-Ing. Ekrem Oezkaya realized through his outstand-ing academic records and unique expertise, completely new basics in machining technologies. Based on its interdisciplinary knowledge and fundamental scientific activities, Dr.-Ing. Ekrem Oezkaya creates innovative developments focus on modeling, simulation and optimization methods. He generates and works leadingly on numerous research and development projects. His extraordinary skills and tireless commitment have contributed decisively to implementing the priority project: "Efficient cooling, lubrication and transportation – coupled mechanical and fluid-dynamical simulation methods for efficient production processes (FLUSIMPRO)". There is no doubt, the scientific research work of Dr.-Ing. Ekrem Oezkaya advances the state of research on an international level. His scientific results generate a wide international interest and have been published in numerous high-ranking journals (SCI and SCI-E), specialist journals, conference proceedings, conferences and book chapters. The innovations and results that can be achieved from his expertise create new incentives for young academics as well as new content for the teaching portfolio.
