Academic Solutions for Industrial Challenges
Is driven by activity, a spirit of research and development, and a passion for innovation.
We focus on the current situation of our customers and initiate economic, ecological and social steps towards Industry 4.0, which is the de facto reality of industrial production. At the same time, we are already thinking about the future and directing the production milestones to be mastered in the direction of 5.0 - with the goal of further increasing your efficiency and productivity. Because that is the logical consequence of revolutionary perspectives of industrial production.
Industry 4.0 and 5.0 do not have a starting and an end point, but rather merge into one another. Customers who have not yet reached the level of Industry 4.0 need not panic, because we focus first on the current challenges and do not rush anything. We are just thinking one step ahead of the current solution, so that we can easily move to the next phase when the time is right for our customers.
In almost all industries and disciplines, technical simulation plays a central role and is used to replace the conventionally expensive prototype product development, tool development and system development already in the design phase. This avoids time-consuming and costly experimental testing from the outset and replaces it with advanced numerical analysis.
While it was common in the past to focus on only one variable physical quantity, today's state of the art allows to simulate many physical properties simultaneously. Thus, the multi-physics results can be used to optimize certain responsible parameters and increase efficiency and productivity.

Optimizations and solutions should be designed in such a way that our customers can operate successfully on the market in the future. Innovation and intelligence are indispensable for ideal and holistic (interlinked) solution approaches. Technologies on which Artificial Intelligence is based are already available, the relevant question is: How digital transformations can be implemented to increase the potential in product, tool and system development.
To achieve this goal, depending on the use case, correct and specific data but also a high quality analysis of this data is required. These can be obtained from e.g. digitized manufacturing and production processes. This increases the potential for e.g. automated modeling, simulation technology, human-robot collaboration and interaction, online condition monitoring and anomaly detection as well as adaptive control systems. Production efficiency and flexibility can be increased through AI-assisted process programming and predictive quality assurance maintenance.
A revolutionary concept for mapping a current system state is the so-called "digital twin" which can be used to map the current system state and predict changes to specific responses. This significantly reduces development times and optimizes the system. In addition, the digital twin can be integrated into simulation models and has the ability to have a controlling effect on the system.
